Flynn's crush part 2 On the train ride to district 12, I draw. Drawing helps me keep calm, and also helps me think. I don't know what I'm drawing until I'm done. I look at the picture and to my surprise, I see her. "Saffra" I whisper. "Why did you ever have to run into me?"
Once I'm finally in 12, I run out of the station to Katniss's house. I need a women's point of view on this, and not my mothers. When I get there I see Peeta outside. He's playing with his kids. "Hey guys!" I yell.
"Hey Flynn!" they all yell.
"Here you go Peeta" I say handing him the fish.
"Thank you very much" says Peeta. There must be some kind of look on my face, because he says "looking for Katniss?"
"Yes. Is she here?" I ask. He points to the house and says "she's inside."
"No problem." I quickly run inside and see Katniss sitting in a rocking chair. "Hello Flynn." She says but I don't respond. "Something wrong?" I then left up the paper showing her the picture of Saffra. "Oh"
Flynn's crush part 1'Finally' I think 'today I actually get to go fishing today.' I have lived in district 4, or what's left of it, all my life and I have never been fishing. Katniss told me that district 4 was known for its fishing industry, to me it still kind of is. Every day I see grown men going out to fish in the ocean or some of our nearby lakes. Today I become one of those men, I just wish dad was here to see me. I heard he was one of the best fishermen here, but what's in the past stays in the past. My mom says that all the time.
When I finally get to the ocean, I don't move. I stay frozen in a trance of beauty. Its dawn, and the sun is just starting to rise over the sea. "wow" I whisper to myself. I realize I'm losing valuable fishing time by just standing here, I see that I've accidently dropped dads fishing trident. I pick it up, and move for the water.
